Senior Manager, Content Strategy & Performance

This is a Contract position in Wilmington, DE posted August 25, 2021.

The Senior Manager, Content Strategy & Performance will be a key member of the Neiman Marcus eCommerce team in helping to deploy seasonal campaign strategies and overall content plans for the Neiman Marcus website.

His or her primary goal is to support a customer-first view in maximizing the Neiman’s digital storytelling opportunities through the curation of unique and engaging personalized, relevant content experiences.

Reporting to the Sr.

Director of Site Merchandising, this position will work cross-functionally with site merchant managers and the analytics, marketing, brand partnership, creative and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities Partner closely with the Brand Content and Strategy team to craft and execute content strategies and experiences that engage Neiman Marcus consumers throughout our omni channel ecosystem.

This includes collaborating cross functionally to determine the best execution for annual content strategy and plan based on core marketing and commercial/merchandising objectives, trends, themes and key audience needs.

Collaborate with Site Merchant Managers to understand category-specific merchandising priorities and partner together to identify the most effective way to incorporate those priorities in multi-category story telling initiatives throughout the site.

Define additional content types to drive more engaging content, higher click thru rates and achieve customer graduation goals.

Collaborate with product management on content enhancements.

Create ongoing analysis around reach, engagement, demand
– documenting successes and misses to inform future content development and providing executive level reporting.

Serve as the liaison between the site merchandising and creative teams to communicate content needs including the overall seasonal strategy as it relates to the product discovery pages (PLP, SRP, PDP).

Define timelines, quantity, and types of assets.

Drive engagement with magazine stories by partnering with site merchandising on the execution and timing of site support assets.

Increase demand and product views by optimizing the landing page experience from story links.

Work with the brand partnership team to share evolved opportunities for brands across our digital network.

Create a positive and collaborative work environment with cross-functional partners to allow for alignment and execution of strategies to exceed goals.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant ecommerce merchandising or ecommerce marketing.

Strong experience in large scale enterprise organizations.

Luxury retail preferred.

Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, verbal and written.

Strong commitment to timelines, accuracy, organization and professionalism.

Experience working cross-functionally, especially across marketing disciplines, merchandising and creative teams Strong creative and strategic thinker who has the ability to problem-solve Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects from concept to completion under tight deadlines Proactive, self-motivated, passionate, and accountable.

A self-starter approach with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility.

Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using data analytics tools.

Adobe Analytics experience preferred.

Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills required.

Experience in an “ownership” position overseeing site content with the goal of driving ecommerce KPIs is preferred.
