We are seeking a Director to lead the team responsible for social and mass media strategies and execution to both amplify the brand and drive business results.

You will work closely with the Marketing and Design teams to plan and develop campaigns and coordinate paid advertising.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Public Relations, this role is a key driver of awareness, reputation, and engagement for the Best Egg brand.

You will create and communicate media plans and timelines, including the creation of content, scheduling, and monitoring media metrics.

This is an exciting opportunity to create social media content that is relevant and engaging, but also thoughtful, authentic, and honest.

You will have the opportunity to devise interesting story-telling styles of advertising for Best Egg and work with the insights team to track and improve brand awareness, while also working with the operations team to ensure that customer issues and questions are appropriately addressed. 

What youll be doing…

• Develop social and mass media strategy and budget

• Broaden brand awareness, deepen customer relationships, and attract new customers

• Build and mentor team of media experts that can drive business results

• Oversee media planning, execution, tracking, evaluation, and ongoing optimization of cross-channel breakthrough media programs, with a focus on driving leads and sales in an efficient manner

• Establish agency relationships and champion management systems to improve efficiency

• Keep abreast of social media trends; respond to changes relevant to the organizations marketing strategies

• Coordinate media activities with key stakeholders across the company (including marketing and operations) to ensure an effective, seamless social strategy is deployed throughout the organization.

• Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure ROI

• Manage campaign tracking, forecasting, competitive media analysis, and optimization through the creation and issuance of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports in collaboration with analytics team

What were looking for…

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Marketing, Analytics, or a related major required with an MBA a plus.

• Professional Experience: 7+ years of experience in a B2C marketing role, including social media and mass media responsibility, preferably for a digital business.

• Creative Leader: Highly connected to consumers and trends.

Ability to cultivate relevant and impactful marketing campaigns.

Exceptional understanding of media outlets and platforms, content, and trends.

Proficiency with HTML, digital media formats and editing tools.

Experience with tech tools such as MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud and similar.

• Strong track record: Ability to drive awareness, engagement, and sales through media strategies.

Experience working with analytics teams to quantify return on ad spend to make the case for continual investment.

• Build Strong Teams: Ability to hire, motivate and develop internal staff demonstrating a commitment to inclusion and diversity. Ability to select and manage a broad range of agency partners.

• Communication and Influence: Ability to set guidelines and engage team and stakeholders to deliver against the  clearly articulate complex ideas and information in a compelling narrative to a diverse set of audiences.
