Sr. Business Development Representative

Utah Transportation Authority

This is a Contract position in Minquadale, DE posted August 23, 2021.

Job Summary The position performs fare pricing through analysis and pricing of programs to support fare revenue goals, initiatives, and projects, as well as to ensure policy compliance.

Oversees fare programs.

Creates new pass programs to grow subsidized fare, as well as coordinates board approval for sponsored fare and/or service.

Administers pass programs, as well as seeks to evolve and grow the program.

Ensures compliance to the UTA Fares Policy which is accomplished through implementation of fare policy elements; management of policy and resolutions; and obtainment of the Board Approval for fare items.

Verifies compliance with Federal, State and Local laws to meet ADA, Title VI, and local law requirements.

Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Statistical Analysis, or related field preferred EXPERIENCE: Minimum five years’ professional experience developing, implementing, and managing projects, including oversight of budgets, project performance, and revenue development.

Advanced knowledge in data analysis, financial modeling and forecasting, and product pricing with one year in public transit fare systems preferred.

Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar software preferred.

Thorough knowledge of strategic planning, market research, and business process improvement.

Experience facilitating meetings and presenting complex information in a professional setting.

Knowledge of federal, state and local laws to meet ADA, Title VI, and local law requirements.

Skills: Business analyst skills including analytical thinking and problem solving, being detail oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy, oral and written communication skills, processes modeling and cost benefit analysis.

Program development skills including communicating with multiple stakeholders, promoting, and selling program to potential partners, facilitating shared direction and consensus decision-making, creating collaborative groups, and documenting and formalizing agreements.

Program and project management skills including creating procedures, establishing goals and targets, directing the work of others, budgeting, performance measurement, program evaluation and improvement.
