Inside Sales Representative Position Overview: We are currently searching for an Inside Sales Representative in our Wear Protection business.

An educational background in business, material sciences and/or engineering is an asset to this position, but an entrepreneurial spirit and great work ethic are even more important.

We are looking for a high-quality salesperson for our fast-growing wear parts business who wants to earn what they feel they are worth.

Candidates must be career-minded, hardworking and goal oriented with a great personality and confidence.

A full-time commitment is required.

DESIRED SKILLS * Persuasive Personality * Natural Communicator * Strong verbal and written communication * Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, Material Sciences or Engineering preferred * Positive attitude, a team player, and the ability to achieve set targets * Strong presentation, organization, and time management skills * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite RESPONSIBILITIES * Independently establishing and developing relationships with potential customers via telephone calls and emails; * Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business; * Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale; * Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails; * Responding to incoming email and phone inquiries; * Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets; * Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales; * Gathering market and customer information; * Representing our Company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations; * Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers; * Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy; * Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions; * Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office, or entering figures into a computer system; * Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets; * Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements; * Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.
