We oversee technology strategy, Salesforce on Salesforce, customer and partner enablement, applications engineering, infrastructure, collaboration, enterprise operations, architecture, and program enablement.

Salesforce is looking for a contract Technical Writer to join our growing IT Applications Development Team.

You will be working with the development team, driving integrations for Workday on our global ES Next Program.

You will be partnered with a group of world-class engineers, architects and product managers to create content targeted to technical audiences.

This role requires someone who is passionate about both technology and content authoring.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop or update technical program documentation for Workday HCM integrations.

A cross-functional background in Workday or other HR applications will be helpful but not required, along with technical writing experience.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the technical documentation is accurate, complete and kept up-to-date through the duration of the project.

The ideal candidate has excellent people skills, is a self-starter who can quickly prioritize deadlines and deliver on time with quality
– while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

You must possess good oral and written communication skills and be able to collaborate with other team members and follow their direction.

Responsibilities include: Works closely with engineering development and product management to develop high-quality technical content.

Drafts, maintains, and edits content for technical program documentation.

Creates documentation with a consistent tone and style, with adherence to technical standards.

Balances multiple projects and works as an integral part of the Engineering team.

Learns and tests integration functionality (where possible) while writing documentation.

Provides regular updates to manager on project status Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of technical writing experience or equivalent.

Experience with Workday Report Writer Preferred Qualifications: Experience documenting or working with enterprise-class software preferred.

Experience writing API documentation.

Proactive and able to work independently on multiple projects.

Background in human resources or payroll integrations a plus.

Experience with Mulesoft a plus.
