Strategic Communication Lead

It sets forth the minimum requirements for the implementation of a consistent and controlled approach to create and use data as a critical corporate asset.

The Policy also establishes a Governance Model for Data Management, Governance and Quality across Citi.

All Citi employees, contractors, and personnel with responsibility for the ownership, production, and consumption of data must manage data in accordance with the CDMP.**This position is in the US Consumer Bank, supporting its data governance related functions as outlined in the CDMP and managed by the US Consumer Analytics (USCA) team.**The Strategic Management Communication Lead is a strategic communications professional who will lead the development, oversight, and execution of strategic business management reporting for the U.S.

Consumer Analytics Strategic Data Management Center of Excellence to improve the team’s communication and reporting and contribute to organizational effectiveness.

Consumer Analytics function is central to the US Consumer Banks mission to be more customer-centric by supporting decision making on multiple levels.

What does the outcome of implementing Citi’s data management policy look like to Customer’s?The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in strategic analytics messaging to executive management and across business and functional lines.

Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, sometimes at a senior level.

Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.

This role will report directly to the SVP of Business Optimization in the Strategic Data Management Center of Excellence of U.S.

Consumer Analytics.Responsibilities:+ Lead the development of executive level presentations by collecting content for PowerPoint; edit and update submissions from the Center of Excellence and Data Product Management teams to ensure end result is a high-quality presentation which appropriately represents the meeting and analytics objectives+ Synthesizing dense, data-oriented information into language that allows key stakeholders to make decisions quickly+ Develop optimized KPI reporting for measurable, succinct communication+ Support the SVP of Business Optimization to build organizational capabilities on soft skills, such as better writing or presentation design+ Re-enforce communications best practices and use of templates for the organization to facilitate gathering of information for management reporting and to ensure consistency of format and messaging in presentations+ Lead creation of new templates when needed+ Support requests from the Global Consumer Bank (GCB) Citibank’s U.S.

Consumer Executive leadership team for updates on strategic priorities, commentary on Scorecard variances, and other ad-hoc requests+ Partner with GCB Data Governance Office and NAM Data Governance Office to support process of weekly updates to various senior leaders throughout the Global Consumer Bank (GCB), will include editing of content and updating of dashboards – and should have ideas for making those processes more efficient+ Support SVP of Business Optimization in developing and launching internal and external strategic communications materials Qualifications:+ 7-10+ years of experience+ Experience either in journalism, strategy consulting, or another writing or presentation heavy role+ Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tight deadlines+ Self-motivated and prepared to grow into independent work+ Ability to drive progress with limited guidance and short turnaround times+ Ability to influence broadly and challenge conventional thinking.
