OSJ Delegate

WSFS Bank

This is a Contract position in Greenville, DE posted June 4, 2021.

 WSFS Bank is currently seeking an OSJ Delegate to support the WSFS Wealth Investment division. 

The OSJ Delegate will primarily assist the OSJ Principal and support in day-to-day operations of the WSFS Wealth Investments, which is an OSJ (Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction) of Commonwealth Financial Network. 

General responsibilities would include assisting OSJ Principal with all facets of daily trade review, weekly correspondence review, mail opening and review, marketing/advertising regulatory review and commission report and statistics review.  This role also provides administrative support, such as, spearheading special projects, assist the OSJ Principal with marketing campaign regulatory review efforts for the Advisor team, website updates and compiling data for various OSJ reporting efforts.

The candidate will need to learn all facets of the OSJ workflows and computer systems.  The candidate will be required to review client financial information and ensure that all required forms are completed fully and accurately during Principal post-review; regularly review Commonwealth new items, technology updates, and e-mail communications while reporting pertinent information back to the OSJ Principal. The incumbent will be asked to provide total office coverage, in the absence of the OSJ Principal and the Director.  

In addition to OSJ Delegate responsibilities, the candidate will also provide overall assistance to the WSFS Wealth Investments support team as needed.  This will include providing customer service support to the advisor’s clients and assist with support in day-to-day operations.  Additional responsibilities include assisting with data entry of all client financial information and ensuring that all required forms are completed fully and accurately; generate reports for advisor’s meetings with clients, track pending business paperwork, update pending business summary sheets for advisor’s attention and track and tally all outstanding work weekly, maintaining updated client contact records using the CRM system; scheduling client meetings and marketing activities; performing mail merges; building client relationships; maintaining client files and mail. 

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm position located at the OSJ location in Greenville, Delaware.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in the investment and/or insurance industry.
  • Experience working with National Financial Services (NFS) processes and forms is a plus.
  • Must possess a FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 registrations.
  • Must have an unblemished U4 report.
  • Must be proficient with computer programs, including Microsoft Word, CRM systems, Wealthscape ℠and Morningstar®.
  • Familiarity with basic marketing concepts and practices is required.
  • Must have exceptional customer service experience.
  • Must have core knowledge of FINRA, SEC and state insurance regulation.
  • Must have the ability to maintain attention to detail while under pressure, as well as to view details in the overall context of the client’s circumstances.
  • The ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines is required.
  • Must be willing and able to travel within the WSFS Bank footprint, if necessary.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently and differentiate between matters that should be handled alone versus those that require OSJ Principal assistance.
  • The ability to identify and solve problems is required.
  • Must possess the ability to interact with people across all levels of the business at WSFS Bank and Commonwealth Financial Network.
