We are seeking General Laborers to join our rock crushing team.

This position is responsible for assisting our crews in the operation of our rock crushing plant(s).

This position provides an excellent opportunity for growth and a long-term career with ARI.The laborer position will begin as a ground position assisting operators in keeping the jobsite running safely and efficiently.

This includes sweeping catwalks, greasing bearings, clearing pathways, tracking conveyor belts, recognizing and reporting mechanical issues, cleaning the grounds with a skid steer, water hose and shovel, and learning how the plant functions to obtain the ability to operate the plant.

This position follows our portable rock crushing plant, which is typically stationed in the Creswell or Silverton, OR area.

If you are a person who thrives in a high-production environment, appreciates the opportunity for overtime, has most weekends off, and understands the importance of operating safely and taking great care of equipment, this position may be for youWAGE$40,000-$70,000/year depending on experience.Unlimited overtime when work is available.Full benefit package.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum age 18.Manual labor experience (industry specific not required).Valid drivers license with a driving record that includes no more than 3 moving violations and/or chargeable accidents in the last 3 years and no DUIIs.We submit candidates to a background check through the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to screen felony records as appropriate in compliance with federal government restrictions.We will administer a pre-employment drug test and physical.

For safety reasons, we have a zero tolerance drug policy, including marijuana use.Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work on feet for long hours.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESViews safety as paramount and continually works to maintain a safe operation.Assists in rock crushing plant operation.Inspects and observes plant for equipment malfunctions and break downs.Performs daily service and maintenance on rock crushing plant.Performs repairs on rock crushing plant as needed.Assists in completing daily inspection of equipment pre-and-post shift.Perform general housekeeping duties to continuously maintain a safe, clean work environment.Travel away from home (typically 5 days/week) is a required part of this position.

– On prevailing wage jobs, 100% of fringe (after health insurance) is paid as pre-tax wages into the employee’s 401k.
