We are seeking aInvestigator to join the company, a premier supplier, in Dover, DE. Conducts telephonic investigations to obtain information to locate individuals and recommends and/or implements necessary follow-up measures. Elements of these investigations will include: • Status Notification • Risk ascertainment • Partner elicitation • Referral services • Conducts partner services operations by locating individuals exposed to infected patients through confidential investigative techniques. Use specific software to receive case assignments and conduct timely data entry into surveillance systems. Elements of this include recording the following: • Contact attempts • Interview notes • Exposure Risk Assessment • Demographics and locational information • Treatment information • Partner information • Linkage to care notes • Referral information and status/outcomes • Reporting to primary program managers/supervisors for unusual or incomplete statuses of cases within specified timeframes • Carry out follow-up actions with clients to include re-testing and showing up for DIS assisted scheduled appointments Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): • Knowledge of government regulations regarding the monitoring, control and eradication and reporting requirements of communicable diseases/health hazards. • Knowledge of interviewing and investigative techniques. • Knowledge of the etiology of communicable diseases/health hazards. • Knowledge of basic medical terminology. • Knowledge of methods and techniques of data collection, interpretation and report writing. • Skill in interviewing and extracting information of a sensitive nature from persons of varied socio-economic backgrounds. • Skill in investigative procedures. • Ability to collect and interpret data and complete accurate reports. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
