Environmental Health & Safety Administrator

Job Descriptions
Manage, improve, track, consult and maintain programs, initiatives and engagement related to site safety, health, environmental, and site security to protect employees and the environment as well as support compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

This role will have primary responsibilities to support and lead the following EHS programs.
Responsibilities Accurately maintains Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and maintenance hard copy and electronic recordkeeping.

Provides training coordination using the Success Factor Tool.

This includes training scheduling, course and quiz development, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining the site training calendar.

Provide administrative support to the Site Contact Administrator.

Will maintain training records, coordinate contractor vetting using ISN, update contractor status spreadsheet, maintain vendor electronic files, and track hours of operation.

Provide administrative support for medical surveillance program.

(Maintain spreadsheets, distribute paperwork, schedule appointments) Manage safety glass and footwear program.

Coordinates safety milestone, initiative, and recognition programs.

Manage Safety Data Sheet system and inventory.

Enter and track documentation for Behavioral Based Safety Program Manage tracking of safety and housekeeping programs and closure of action items.

Contact for First Aid Supply vendor.

Preform AED inspections.

Order EHS supplies and services.

Complete maintenance history / work process program.

Administers the site’s security badge system.

Note: Position responsibilities are summarized and incumbent may be directed to perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.
3.0 Qualifications
3.1 Education / Experience
Minimum high school diploma with 5+ years of experience.

College credits / degree may be used to offset years of experience.

Knowledge in SAP systems a plus.

Knowledge of Success Factor learning management system is a plus.

3.2 Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
Basic knowledge of OSHA / EPA regulations and requirements.

Demonstrated ability to lead, work and communicate with a diverse group of people in all functional groups.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate, network and maintain solid interpersonal skills in all functional groups.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good documentation skills
– significant record keeping requirements.

Flexibility and the ability to handle a wide variety of assignments with continually changing priorities.

Ability to organize work effectively.

Strong commitment to operating discipline and continuous improvement.

Computer literacy required.

Word, Excel, Power Point.
