The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it.

Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.

The Deposit and Credit Bureau Management Office (DCBMO) is currently seeking a Business Support Consultant to join the Strategy & Integration team to coordinate initiatives requiring technology support.

 In this role, the successful candidate will be able to navigate technology intake processes/tollgates while working with business leads and product owners to drive prioritization and deliverables to meet specified implementation time frames, including associated issue management expectations.

Additionally this role will be responsible for assessing changes initiated by other business groups and technology teams to determine impact to DCBMO systems and processes.

This is an Individual Contributor role that requires knowledge of consumer lending technology systems of record (SORs) and agile software delivery processes.

 Understanding of credit bureau functions and/or associated laws (FCRA, FACTA) is desirable.

 This role will focus on/be responsible for, but not limited to:
Partnering with Issue Management leads to identify technology impacts associated with owned corrective actions including identification of impacted SORs
Working closely with Corrective Action Owner and/or project sponsor and designated subject matter experts to determine high level scope of technology needs to support initial completion dates within the Issue Management process 
Manage requests with relevant stakeholders (technology, product owner, business excellence/change management) to ensure required artifacts are created and tollgates are met to ensure initiatives meet delivery dates 
Work with subject matter experts as needed to attend any required agile ceremonies including refinement sessions in support of the work efforts
Coordinate with Group Portfolio Delivery processes to establish tracking/funding and secure any required project management support 
Maintain status reporting leveraging appropriate enterprise tools including Jira, Confluence and SHRP
Attend intake reviews, refinement sessions or other similar processes for external technology teams supporting DCBMO related initiatives
Provide input and support for ongoing 6-quarter technology roadmaps and associated technology investment needs
Act as the representative for the cross functional impact team (CFIT) function on behalf of the DCBMO.

Review newly submitted change controls and identify if there is impact to the department through partnering with key members of the operational groups within the DCBMO.
Utilizes knowledge of the business unit’s functions and business needs to identify impacts to systems or processes resulting from external change or projects.

Coordinates support of SME where necessary to assist in evaluating and assessing potential impacts to changes
Maintain tracking of change impacts and notifies all key stakeholders when impacts are identified to ensure project support and change management resources are engaged
May prepare and present to senior leaders or executive management on project objectives, status or performance and recommends strategies to implement changes and improvements

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

DE-Wilmington: Min: $85,900 Mid: $121,000 Max: $156,100
IA-West Des Moines: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000 Max: $141,900
AZ-Chandler: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000 Max: $141,900
NC-Raleigh: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000 Max: $141,900
SC-Fort Mill: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000 Max: $141,900

Required Qualifications

6+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience

Desired Qualifications

Experience defining and/or developing business initiatives that require integration of multiple technology systems
Knowledge and understanding of Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) such as reporting and issue management

Other Desired Qualifications
Knowledge and understanding of technology software development lifecycle in both waterfall and agile scrum methodologies
Ability to create strong visual PowerPoint presentations and deliver to management and senior leaders
Experience with consumer credit bureau reporting and the associated laws (FCRA, FACTA)
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend enhancements
Experience with Jira, Confluence, & Clarity PPM tools
End to end issue management experience 
Experience evaluating or testing solutions to ensure gaps are remediated and sustainable
